With a 15 percent smaller head construction than that featured in the original Spider, the TaylorMade Spider Mini Silver Putter will appeal more to the golfer that prefers a blade style of head, but requires more forgiveness and stability.
Regardless of the smaller size, TaylorMade have managed to maintain the impressively High-MOI performance which is featured in the standard Spider putter; This has been achieved by including an optimised weighting system that is positioned around the perimeter of the putter.
The CG location within the TaylorMade Mini Silver has been moved forward to offer a feeling of release at impact that blade players will be familiar to. Whilst at impact, the award-winning Pure Roll insert limits skidding due to their 45-degree groove position.
As a result of Dustin Johnson’s feedback after using the prototype during the 2018 Player’s Championship, TaylorMade have added a new T-Line Sightline on the top of the putter for easier alignment at address.
